I am Don Wilkins. I grew up in Libby, MT and spent most of my time hunting, fishing and hiking. Fishing was my primary passion. There was no unexplored bodies of water in my neck of the woods while growing up.
After Graduation from High School, I started working as a logger and occasionally in lumber mills. Employment in the Timber industry took me to Libby, Kalispell, Helena, Lincoln, Butte and places in between. I took advantage of the fishing and hunting opportunities wherever I was working and living.
In 2008 I took a job with UPS then transferred to Eastern Montana. Glendive initally, then transferred to Glasgow a couple years later. Eastern Montana was a significant geographical change over the mountains and timber of the west.
I have been fishing Fort Peck for the past 15 years. Both open water and Ice fishing. In past years we have chased tip ups through the Ice in the Dry arm and fished open water at the Dam in the same weekend. Fort Peck is an amazing multi-species fishery year round.
I am Licensed with the Montana Board of Outfitters. Montana Guide #51233. I hold a U.S. Coast Guard Captains License, CPR & First Aid Certification and am Fully insured.
Rain, Shine, Cold, Hot, Windy or Calm rest assured I will do everything within my capabilities to make your Fort Peck experience an amazing experience that will leave you longing for another trip.
